CONDITIONS OF SALE PAYMENT

– On cash sales the total amount due must be paid either when the goods are ordered, collected or delivered
– No goods can be leti at a customers address unless
they are paid for in full. Only cash, Building Society Cheques or bank drafts are acceptable on delivery
– Goods stored at customers request must be paid for in full
– Where private cheques are tendered in payment they must be cleared prior to delivery of the goods and are not acceptable on delivery.
– All cheques should be made payable lo SIS Furnishings.

DEPOSITS

– Deposits are non refundable.
– Deposits are required on all orders unless agreed.
– A 25% deposit is required on all special orders.

SPECIAL ORDERS

– Time lor delivery of goods not in stock is given as accurately as possible but cannot be guaranteed and while every elfort is made the customer shall have no rights to damages or to cancel the order for failure to deliver at the stated time.
– Goods obtained by us to special order can only be altered or exchanged and the special order itself can only be cancelled by agreement with the departmental manager concerned and the supplier. Once agreed then such alterations/exchanges/ cancellations must be confirmed by the customer within 7 days.

DEFECTS AND SHORTAGES

To ensure the efficient resolution of claims for defects and shortages the customer should
– Unpack and inspect the goods on receipt.
– Notify us in writing within 1 day of receipt should any complaint arise and
– Give us the opportunity to inspect the goods and investigate any complaint before any use or installation.
as to any claims in respect of defect not apparent on receipt the customer should
– Notity us in writing as soon as reasonably practicable after the defect is discovered and
– Make no use of the goods thereafter and make no alteration thereto before we are given the opportunity to inspect the goods.
– The customer shall not be e. titled to any claim in respect of any repairs or alterations under taken by him without our prior specific consent nor in respect of any defect arising from fair wear and tear or damage due to misuse
– We shall not be liable for loss or damage suffered by reason of use of the goods after the customer becomes aware of a defect or after circumstances which should reasonably have indicated to the customer the existence of a detect.
– If following the inspection of the goods pursuant to sub-paragraphs A and B above it transpires that we have no legal liability in respect of the matter complained of then we reserve the right to levy our standard call out charge.

CANCELLATION

– On cancellation of an order 10% of the value of the order will be chargeable This does not include the deposit.

STATUTORY RIGHTS

– The statutory rights of the customer are not affected by these conditions of sale

DELIVERY SERVICE

– The precise time of delivery cannot be guaranteed and any time stated by us should only be
– Assembly, movement and fitting of the goods are not included in the service which operates only to the customers door and should our employees comply with the request of a customer for assistance in the assembly, movement and fitting of goods the customer will receive such assistance at his own risk and under no circumstances shall we be liable for any damage to property or expenses howsoever arising.
– We do however appreciate that circumstances may arise in which the customer will require special assistance with regard to the assembly, movement and fitting of goods. We operate a low cost service to provide such special assistance details of which will be given at point of order on the customers request.
